Start with work requests. Get staff and berth holders submitting requests through a single system instead of informal channels. That alone solves the "things getting lost" problem.

Add safety-critical inspections next. Fire systems, lifting equipment, electrical installations — anything where a missed check creates immediate danger or compliance exposure. Get those on automated schedules with proper tracking.
