New in Moored: Dry Stack and Hard Standing, Managed Visually
Moored now manages dry stack racks and hard standing visually: a live picture of every space, what is in it, and who it belongs to, sitting alongside the rest of your operation.
What is new
You can now lay out your storage the way you already picture it. Racks and standing areas appear as a visual arrangement of spaces, and each space shows what is in it and who it belongs to. Instead of cross-referencing a list against your memory of the yard, you look at the yard.

At a glance you can see which spaces are occupied, which are free, and which boat is sitting in which bay. Every occupied space links back to the customer and their record, so the information about the boat, its owner and its history is one click away rather than one filing cabinet away.
Seeing who is where
The heart of this release is that single, honest question every yard has to answer a dozen times a day: who is where? A visual layout answers it instantly. You can see occupancy across the whole site, spot the gaps you can still sell, and find any individual boat without a walk-round.
Because each space is tied to the customer, the picture is not just spatial. The boat in that rack has an owner, a contact, a storage arrangement and a place in the rest of your records. The yard team and the office are working from the same live view rather than two versions that drift apart by Friday.
One system for afloat and ashore
The thing we care most about here is that storage no longer sits in its own silo. Dry stack and hard standing live alongside your moorings, your visitor bookings and your seasonal berth holders, under the same customers and the same billing. A boat that keeps a summer berth and comes out onto the hard for winter is one relationship in one system, not two records in two places that you have to reconcile by hand.
That is what turns storage from a headache into a part of the operation you can actually plan around, and eventually sell more of, because you can finally see what you have got.
Who it is for
Dry stack and hard standing management is part of the Professional plan, and it is aimed squarely at the mixed-use sites and boatyards where storage is a real slice of the business: places running seasonal berths, winter haul-outs and racked storage alongside their visitor and mooring operations.
If your yard currently lives on a whiteboard, this is the release that gets it onto a screen everyone can see.
Taking a look
Existing customers on the Professional plan can start laying out their storage now. If you are not there yet and this is the piece you have been waiting for, see how the wider platform fits together or get in touch and we will walk you through it against your own yard.

Three Messages, Every Boat, Every Time: The Manual Overhead Automation Quietly Removes
There are a handful of messages that turn an average marina stay into one a boater remembers. Sending them to one customer is easy. Sending them to every single customer, personalised, conditional and on time, is a job no person can actually do consistently. That is exactly where the manual process overhead hides, and exactly what automated message streams take off your desk.
Services and Add-Ons: Where Marina Management Software Makes or Breaks the Guest Experience
A berth is the start of a visit, not the whole of it. This is a close look at how marina management software handles services and add-ons: the booking, the pricing, the communication, the internal jobs, the quotes, and why the depth of that handling quietly decides how a stay actually feels.
The Pros and Cons of Boat Reservation Systems: Turn Up, Book Instantly, or Request and Wait
There are really only three ways a marina handles an arriving boat: let them turn up and sort it on the day, let them book instantly online, or ask them to request a space and confirm it with staff. Each has a real trade-off, and the honest answer for which one wins depends on your layout, your weather and how busy you get.
